[interfacekit] What the heck is going on with me, anyway?

Well, the grim truth is that in paring itself down for sale, my company 
has "right-sized" me.  So I'm going to be spending a lot of my time in 
the near future doing two things: looking for work, and doing some 
contract work on the side.

I'm going to do my best to keep all this from interfering too terribly 
with my duties here, but if I'm a little slow to respond and don't seem 
to be doing a whole lot, this is why.
