This has been something I've been contemplating myself, and I came to the
same conclusion. It already has its own version of BMessage. It wouldn't
surprise me if it also had a lightweight version of BRegion or something.
Here's the real question: if we use a Region-type class, what would be
required to make it as fast as possible?
