But has anybody actually *asked* for their money back, now, on account of
this? I rather doubt it. (they had that opportunity - what was it? - in
the first month of their purchase? the goalposts change, you see, once
you've actually made that kind of investment in a device. Grounds for
re-selling it etc., would have to be to do with the device not performing as
advertised. The brailleNote also underwent a transplant over a period of
time that lasted a bit, oh, maybe a year or more. So, presumably, people
will have quite some time before they have to trade up. A year is short,
but PDA technology... well, it changes quickly. they did get a software
upgrade or two on to it, I believe. However, no doubt some people are
feeling the heat. 'Early Adopters' are almost always 'guinea pigs'! The
NFB-US, though, is pretty good over the pond at getting people to cough up
their money!

hi that still doesn't stop software upgrades, that's rediculous
aure i agree on a mobile for OCR great but why charge 2500 quid for
something which is out of date in a year. that's the thing no one says
anything about it yet people are upset when they are no longer supported
i'd have asked for money back if i'd put into a device that was no
longer supported it's only been out a year?
