Hi Brian. My pleasure, perhaps an article split along the lines of GPS applications, productivity etc. etc., or even split in to individual app chunks where one app is discussed per file. Things have been quiet on the access technology front of late so something to liven things up would be welcome.
All the best, Ibrahim.-----Original Message----- From: Brian Hartgen

Yes, an article in bite size pieces appeals to me and is easily something we can do. I will definitely look at the GPS app you recommend, I'll get that done later today and thanks so much for coming back to me on that. Papa Sangre is a game I already have together with the Night Jar, which has some rather cool stereo imagery at the start. Ideal for an article! Thanks again. -----Original Message----- From: infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ibrahim Gucukoglu Sent: Friday, February 17, 2012 9:55 AM To: infotech@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [infotech] Re: A new iPhone article for Infotech Hi Brian. There is an app called Ariadne GPS which is making waves amongst the blind community because it provides real-time location information where ever you happen to be and allows you to explore your surroundings on a touchscreen map. Particularly useful is the ability to bookmark favourite places like your bus stop, a favourite shop or post box etc. and have Ariadne alert you when you reach it to within an adjustable distance. Another thing Ariadne can be used for is finding out where you are on a bus or train, particularly useful if you've had a long journey and are considering whether it would be advisable to have a quick knap, something I've done in the past LOL. What about a couple of games? Papa Sangre comes to mind, that'd be cool since you do your recordings through a mixing desk in stereo. I can think of tonnes of apps which I use on a daily basis, perhaps you'll have to break this month's article down in to manageable chunks as if there's one thing I wont put up with, it's a lengthy article with lots of items, nothing more irritating. All the best, Ibrahim. There is also a look around app which sendero produce that may be worth a look. This could be a very lengthy article by the looks of it! -----Original Message----- From: infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:infotech-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pranav Lal Sent: Friday, February 17, 2012 1:17 AM To: infotech@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [infotech] Re: A new iPhone article for Infotech Brian, Could you review navigone and Google Maps please?
