As many of you know, the Victor Reader Stream turns one year old inSeptember. Wouldn't it be nice to give it a birthday present? How about itsown web site? Well, that's about to happen. In fact, it already has! Visit <http://www.vrstreamusers.org/ www.vrstreamusers.organd see what's there. One of the most exciting things about this change is a new list home. David Edick of Access PC has been gracious enough to host theweb site and new list which runs on Mailman. This should make for a highly configurable and very reliable experience for list members and administrators alike. David and I are set up as co-administrators for this list. Don't worry; Jeff Bishop isn't out of a job. He is welcome to be a third moderator if he wishes. I will move current list members to the new list so you will not have to manually subscribe to the new list. The new address to post to the list will be: vrstream@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Everyone should be subscribed to the new list by September 1. I will placean announcement on the old list directing people to the new list and I will keep the old list active for a while until the transition is complete. I amsending this message to Human Ware as well so they can update theirinformation. I plan to add a lot more content to the web site such as a listof resources for books that work with the Stream and perhaps a list of dealers who sell the product as well. Other suggestions for improving the web site are welcome. Happy birthday Victor Reader Stream! The Victor Reader Stream list is owned by Jamie Pauls (www.accesswatch.info). If you have any questions, concerns, or comments regarding this list, please do not send these messages to the list. Send all comments to vrstream-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and I will get back to you.The list archive can be found at //www.freelists.org/archives/vrstreamStream and Stream Companion Links can be found at http://www.humanware.com/en-usa/support/stream NLS DTB Pilot Application Form https://www.nlstalkingbooks.org/dtb/DownloadPilot.html To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail vrstream-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe" without the quotes in the subject field.
