Selis, John Hess,
our Technology Coordinator, has recently tendered his
resignation. He has accepted a position with the Minnesota State
Department of Blind Services in St. Paul, Minnesota. His last day
at VISIONS will be February 11, 2011. We are sad to see John go,
but we wish him the very best of luck on this new and exciting career
path.
We are recruiting to fill the position of Technology
Services Coordinator immediately upon John's departure. Ideally, we
would like the candidate to start during the week of 2/14/2011.
He/she should be proficient in PC operations, Mac, and assistive
technologies used by persons with impaired vision (screen-readers,
screen-magnification, refreshable braille, etc.). Teaching
experience is required, as are good communications skills,
time-management and the ability to multi-task. See attached for a
