i dont know how long i have had this problem, but i detected it only
recently. i have redhat 7.3 on a server that provides nis and imaps
services (and many others too). i noticed that in my default runlevel of
5, ypserv is started before xinetd. and, ypserv decided to take the imaps
port; so, when xinetd started, imaps was getting disabled. there must be
something wrong here... what is happening? is a similar situation
prevailing in debian, mdk etc?
ps: of course, i killed ypserv, restarted xinetd and then ypserv and
things are ok. but, this should not happen, right?
