Try adding the user into wheels group.
Dear vignesh,

Again, i added the user in 'wheel' group and UNCOMMENTED the below line in
/etc/pam.d/su

# auth       sufficient   /lib/security/pam_wheel.so trust use_uid

and now the user able to su root even without his own password. But i
require to prompt for his own password before been given access to root.
Where else i should change? TIA.

regards,
bhuvaneswaran.

hi,

i am using redhat 7.2.

How do i give access to users to substitute(su) any
user(including root)
by using their own password? Something similar to
/etc/suauth in
slackware.

a light would be suffice.

regards,
bhuvaneswaran.
