hi
my squid proxy server is running and able to share the resource with
another machine...but....i am not able touse ssh nor smtp/pop3 ports....
i read documentation which suggested that i add these ports to the safe
list...which i did and start squid service again..but still i am not
able to access these ports???
squid is a http proxy, not a socks proxy which you can use for other
services like ssh
Some badly configured squid proxies pass the CONNECT method through
which other protocols can be accessed - but that is quite likely to turn
into a security hole for you
Set up NAT + IP masquerading
