you should create a filesystem using mkfs. The command shall be as follows.
# mkfs /dev/hdb (if its connect as secondary master)
After that edit /etc/fstab
/dev/hdb /home2 ext2 defults 0 0 ( I am not sure about the numbers after
Else you can use a 'mount /dev/hdb /home2' for time-being/
i have linux 7.2 in 4 gb hdd.
i added one more hdd 2gb.
when i am fdisk adding new partition , i am not able to mount that
/dev/hdb /home2 ext2 defaults 1 1
this was the line i added in fstab the message i am getting is
invalid file system.
how to add that partition.
also tell me what is that 1 1 or 1 0 or 2 2 given at the end of the
line given at the end of fstab..
