Look up DNS howto in http://www.tldp.org. If you could be more specific
on what you intend to do, it would be easier to respond. For such a
small network, it would be better to resolve of /etc/hosts locally.
Manageable. Just make a startup script to copy a /etc/hosts file from a
central location for every bootup thus making change in one location
propogate. In case you have an internet gateway, then you can set up the
DNS as a caching only DNS with resolv.conf configured to look up your
ISP's DNS hosts. Set up the gateway machine's IP as the DNS IP on all
your Windows PCs and in resolv.conf as the DNS look up in resolv.conf
for every Linux PC.
