You call it satyam but it is sify rather. And yes they are linux
friendly. A lot of development happens out there on linux platform.
Infact it is more linux than win(the development i mean).

I live in Pondicherry. Satyam has just come to town with their broadband
offer. I was wondering if they are truly linux-friendly. They say so but
you never know, they wanted give us a connection via "satellite"
(lol)... so just checking if the guy got the linux part right at least.
I'm thinking of going in for the unlimited-but-shared package. I will
have to sacrifice some speed for loads of data. Rs.800 per month for 1
GB , and Rs.1000 per month for an unlimited transfer. I just wanted to
also check how their performance is with this offer. is it extremely
slow, or manageable?
