postgresql
I've installed it on RH and mandrake, and installation is usually painless.
Install the postgres* rpms (urpmi is usually the best method). You will have
be sure to install both the client and the server packages, plus any other
langage binding modules or whatever (perl-dbi for example)
how to connecto database....
..and how do i set the permissions????
There are complete docs in the HOWTO's please read them, it is quite
straightforward.
