Fedora is a OS developed by a community. why not it doesnt have the mp3
format support by default?? since redhat faces some legal issues with
that, but fedora is a community oriented OS why they have not included
the mp3 support????
FreshRPMS and NewRPMS provide a lot of packages that are missing in
Fedora like xmms-mp3, mplayer, xine, flash-plugin, etc...

You will be getting answers for most of the Fedora questions at
http://www.fedorafaq.org/
I personally am comforatable with FC2 so far. Use apt and yum and you
will not feel missing anything.
