You can configure lynx to use proxy in lynx.cfg. Usually it will be in
/etc/lynx.cfg
for wget you can edit /etc/wgetrc to use proxy

Linux is one of the kernels of the GNU system. If you use Linux

kernel, then it is appropriate that you call the whole OS as
GNU/Linux.
They supplied Aztech 100 DSU modem
They do not and I remember having contacted the Aztec guys
asking this
same question.
I wanted to subscribe to this Dishnet ADSL connection but I did
not do
the switch because they have no drivers for the GNU OS. The
service
offered by Dishnet is faster that the Cable connection
offered by
Asianet in Kochi. I opted for the Cable service because I
could use
this service under GNU/Linux.
