The '&&' in the command is a very useful feature.
It is used in the following format...
command1 && command2 && command3 && ....
In the above example, command2 is executed if and only if
command1 is executed successfully. command3 is executed
if and only if command2 is executed successfully.
This feature is really useful while writing shell scripts.
