Yes. It is possible. But you have build ur "OWN" interface card and
software for this purpose. The following I/F card diagram will give
some idea.
Your S/w PC NIC <===> NIC i/f <--> MicroController <--> HDD
The NIC at ur i/f card will have some MAC id. From ur PC, u send data
to that NIC. The micro controller will receive it and store in the
HDD. Handling FS at the sotware side will reduce the ASM programming.
