[Ilugc] X Problem

you are able to log into X as root? then when u r on the command line
try this "cp /etc/skel/.* ~/" and then startx

You might just be missing the startup files for gnome/kde/...

  Since I don't much abt X files, I am not pasting any logs here. let
me know how to fix this.
