[Ilugc] "Sync out of Range " solved

hi,


i tried method 2 suggested below and fixed my problem.

now the GUI is working properly, but the monitor type is reported incorrectly, 
is there anyway to probe the monitor alone.

Method 1.

        # XFree86 -configure
        # XFree86 -xf86config /root/XF86Config.new
-- if that worked
        # cp /root/XF86Config.new /etc/X11/XF86Config

-- if that does not work,

Method 2.

        # xf86config
-- specify the horizontal frequency as "30-55" and vertical frequency as
"50-100" that should be fine!
