Hi,
Certificates generated using openssl are x.509 standard complaint. So it
doesn't matter in which platform, you are going to use that. Using openssl
'ca' cmd, you can setup your own root CA certificate.
If you using windows, You can also get OpenSSL binary for windows from this
url.
