I was told that there exists an organisation called AID which helps
fishermen to use computers. Although it has nothing to do with free
softwares it does things similar to the GSCP (Goa School Computers
Project). It gets used/old computers from NRIs and donors in the US and
helps fishermen use computers/Internet to find weather information
before they dive into the seas.
