Is there a bios there at all?

Hmm.. probably, there should be something like that. There is a cpu
board. So there should be some EPROM there which tries to start the
machine up. ( I'm just guessing ). I've just now started collecting
info on VMEbus. But definitely they arent enlightening. I really have
no clue how this thing boots up. Definitely it looks completely
different from an IBM PC style machine.
