Are you doing it as root?? Are you getting the "Operation not permitted
message"? I am assuming that you are doing it as root because of the $
in the prompt. It would be helpful if you could post the exact response
of the system. When I try to insert a module as a normal user this is
what happens.

im getting exactly the same error message but i have logged in as root. Now
tell me is there is any other problem with that?
