I am new to Samba Server. I configured the samba server with minimum details
1. Changes in /etc/samba/smb.conf
workgroup = Condor
netbios name = Samba
hosts allow = 202.93.128. 127.
encrypt passwords = yes
smb passwd file=/etc/samba/smbpasswd
All the other things I took it as default values.
2. cat /etc/passwd | sh /usr/bin/mksmbpasswd.sh > /etc/samba/smbpasswd
3. smbpasswd username
4. testparm =====>>>> No Error Reported
5. samba restart
But I didnt get the Samba icon in my windows box.
