i have this php program which writes to a file using fopen(). its works fine
in my windows box and linux box(when i change the file permissions)...
but when i uploaded the file into a linux server and tried to write into a
file which is located in the server, it's showing the error,permission
denied. i tried to change the permission using chmod(), in php. Even that
returned "Operation not permitted". Is there any way that i can change the
file permissions using a php program rather than contacting the server
administrator.
