Hi all,
I have a P4. The mother board is an ASUS motherbrd with
Sis650 onboard video card and Sis 7012 audio card.
No linux (or rather GNU/Linux , as some guys would like to have
it) has drivers for these.
RedHat 7.1 - No X, sound
RedHat 7.2 - --do--
RedHat 7.0 - --do--
But the puzzling thing is that Graphical installation works fine in all of
the above. God knows how?
Now i have Mandrake 7.2 running on my system in which the
XF86_FBDev works fine as default. Still no sound :-(
I think i should be the only person in the world using Mandrake 7.2
It must be atleast a century old :(
It doesn't even have wvdial!!
Will RedHat 7.3/8.0 solve my problem? Does anyone have CD's?
