Hi everybody,
I have a Intel865GLC motherboard. I tried installing Mandrake10. The
installation itself was text based. After it started, X is distorted. As one of
our friends in the group suggested, I ran the command, xf86config, and after
running that, the screen was readable, but I had to move the mouse pointer to
the ends of the screen to scroll thro the desktop. After I rebooted my
computer, once again I got the same distorted(I mean, I was able to guess what
was displayed there, but it has overwritten lots of times) screen again.
I upgraded my old computer to run Linux in a better way. But unfortunately,
from RedHat 9, no distro is support my onboard 865G chipset. Please help me use
my linux box.
Iam not a Linux pro. I rarely used Linux, so pls give the information in detail.
