First let me clarify, by stall you should think just a table with
computer, it not like stalls in NASSCOM exhibitions.
To my utter surprise, I was astonished by the recent postings by the
Microsoft Ambassador, and in spite of myself, I almost felt an urge to
rush and buy, try and use some of the Microsoft Software licenses and
services. Now this list has 1000+ members, who are spread far and wide,
that includes several CEOs CTOs, important decision makers, and
developers, and probably many might have been impressed with the
Microsoft sales pitch, and probably many have consequently purchased
Microsoft Licenses. Is it not impressive? Now, ILUGC doubles up as
M$UGC :) Well, that leads to the unavoidable. There is no free lunch.
It is only fair that Microsoft Corporation sends ILUGC a minimum sum of
atleast Rs. One Crore, for utilising ILUGC list to advertise its
products and services through its Agents and Ambassadors here. One
could expect Microsoft to fairly send the amount to ILUGC forthwith, so
that it could be put to good use at LF2004 on July 10/11 and the years
to come.
