[Ilugc] In PDF showing only Black boxes instead of images

If the LaTeX sources of the book are made available, we can try to
build it with existing free and open source software.
This the response I got from the author. Overall it is positive.
Moreover that book is not at all restricted. So what we can do?

Yes, I used PCTeX 5.1 to generate the pdf.
Prentice-Hall gave the copyright back to me, so I own it. The
electronic version has been free since about 2001. You can use it
personally, make copies for a class, make hard copies and sell them
for a profit, take my name off and put yours on, or anything else you
would like.
Give me a link to a pdf generator that you think might work, and I
will see what I can do.

help. I also think it would be better if you can generate the pdf

One more doubt, I could not find anything about the copy right on the
book. Is it Free(Free as in Freedom)
