Why IP addresses are represented in 32-bit patterns? Why can't we have more
bits?

that is the address scheme in ipv4

look at ipv6 for "more bits"

www.ipv6.org.           1H IN CNAME     shake.stacken.kth.se.
shake.stacken.kth.se.   1H IN A         130.237.234.41
shake.stacken.kth.se.   1H IN AAAA      2001:6b0:1:ea:a00:20ff:fe8f:708f
