gvim can handle unicode but no complex rendering, which means
essentially mean no indic
xemacs can't even handle unicode. It is supposed to work with emacs 22
gtk port but I was not able to get it working. Any lucky folks here?
I use emacs 23
http://ppa.launchpad.net/avassalotti/ubuntu and I am able ;
to view the indic languauge text on emacs. The only problem is that the
modifiers (for lack of a better word) go out of place. I used to have
this problem in FF may be an year or two back. I will ask around to see
how to get this fixed.
