placement, in my humble opinion.
Mckenzie, Accenture, PriceWaterhouse, provide services, only, too. Ask
them to open out their Body-of-Knowledge.

At the same time, as an aside, even if I videotape my mom cook (what is
it with programmers and their moms? They seem to draw her out of the
kitchen way too often!!) and try the same dish the next day, I don't
think I will get it... But, then, even if SHE tried the same dish the
next day, it mightn't be as good (only better?).

these days that "will be difficult to digest" is actually a
euphemistic way of saying "is impossible to digest". :-(

Essentially whole business model should from 'selling product' to
'providing service'. Actually software should not be considered like any
other physical product.
We better think the way professionals like Architect,Auditors,civil
engineers do. All the services(or product) are there for all to see and
copy, improve. Still, these professions thrive well.
If we take Proprietory Software companies as role model and try to fit
that model in Opensource, it may not work.
