Try chmod +s `which ethereal`
If that doesn't work then try sudo utility.
man sudo.

When I tried to run Ethereal for my user account,
it asked me the root password. Each time wehn I was
trying to run the same case occurs. Can you help me to
change some settings so that it may run from any user
account without asking the root password.
