Are you talking about RedHat Linux 6.2? There's no such thing called
Linux 6.2. The latest version of the stable linux (2.4.x) tree is 2.4.18
and the latest version of the unstable 2.5.x tree is 2.5.25 and the (now
historic) 2.2.x series has 2.2.21 as its latest kernel.
Nice to know that you used xf86config... (-: generally I've seen ppl on
Redhat use only Xconfigurator. If you have the monitor's manual you
should prolly try giving the correct Vsync/HSync frequencies. Also
there's this nice 'Xfree86-Video-Timings-HOWTO' that you can read.
