No! If you tune your fs not to run out of inodes you should be ok.
Mail delivery is speeded up so that you really dont have too much load.
My frodo machine is a celeron 2 ghz box with 512 mb ram .. and runs
lists for ilug-delhi and some other people. Load hardly goes beyond 1
or so even with about 500 exim processes being forked.
