Hi all
Anirban did make spelling and grammatical mistakes in the front page news and
the 'about us' section. I corrected some and asked him to consult the CMT
before publishing.
yeah I am very sorry for my spelling mistakes, but the thig is I
published all the stuffs as a test not for real purpose also in the
vary late night when I am very sleepy so I made few mistakes :-(
Please, someone more familiar with Joomla please volunteer to replace
the logo, at the top with the ilug-cal logo which was designed (the
bridge and the Tux one).
I shall try to hack the default fv_camle template to put the picuture.
We need more sections including facilities for uploading articles by members
and admins separately. Uploaded things by members go to a folder at least.
Also the various buttons indicated in the specs. It is better done by people
with some knowledge of php or is html sufficient ?
I shall create a new role say writer and repoters who can just upload
their articles and News. For now in Joomla one have to use the default
tiny WYSWYG type editor to publish any news or Article. I shall see if
people can upload articles in ODS, tex or in other format.
But for now ppl can send me articles and news so that I can start
populating the site.

It is on the right side....depends on the template. ...or hack the browser.
what is pink on opera is tinted white on konqueror (Background).
