I don't know how else to describe it--I hit the road to look for the intersections of making, giving, and community on this trip and I certainly found a group of generous and knowledgeable people with lots of advice and ideas on this! My next step is making gifts -- tokens of repayment and connection -- for everyone that participated. If you contacted me, suggested something, gave us a tour, hosted us, etc, you should be hearing from me in just a few days to collect your address & follow up with you. If not, please feel free to contact me! I have hundreds of emails to sort through, and while I've got a pretty extensive spreadsheet with the info, I'm not perfect. The next logical step after that is, of course, a book, but since that's a thesis project, there's a lot to be solidified in that yet. Anyway. Again: thank you so much. As I heard time and time again, this community is just chock-full of good folks! all my best, ~april hannah llewellyn (aprilhl) www.aprilhl.net | 256-777-3912
