Chris,
My only problem I've had with the symbol not being uprevved is when I tried
using Version 13 symbol on Version 15. I didn't have any problems using
Version 14 symbols in Version 15. I think this is what Charlie was saying.
Hope this what you are looking for.

Chris,
As far as I know, the uprevving is only required when a symbol is more
than 2 (I think) major revs older than the release you are using for the
current design. This may have changed in recent releases, but am not
able to verify as all our symbols are at 15.x due to uprevving.
Regards,
Charlie

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] uprev_overwrite
Hi,
Are there users that are using the command in the subject line for
"up-revving" library symbols between software releases? It was
something we have done routinely for a long time, but may not even be
necessary. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
