Hi Ed,
For DxDesigner, you run the PCB forward tools, and it generates the .tel and
the .txt (device) files. What is your schematic front end? I believe the
.tel is only for "3rd party" import.

I understand a *.tel file is a netlist that Allegro can read to populate a
layout. WHere does the .tel file come from?
