Short answer. Nope.
There is no long answer.
It has come up many times on this forum that you should
consider getting a free viewer. I went out and bought
the low end gerbtool from Wise and I am very happy with it.
Buying it gets me support if I need it (I haven't so far)
and it is only about $100 a year for maintenance. This
gets you all patches and normally one upgrade.
You do what you must.

Is there any way to view the .brd with suppressed pads other than
generate then import the gerber?
