[PCB_FORUM] Re: solder mask and diff pair

It will drop several ohms.  Without knowing details of the soldermask (Er 
value), I can't say by how much.
 
Definitely worth asking your fab house to calculate it for you.  ie use 
UltraCAD as a first estimate and then refine it by asking the fabricator.

Group: We use the free Ultracad diff pair calculator. How much effect will 
soldermask have on 100 ohms diff.
