Hi,
I have a question and need help. If I design a board, consisting one
block A, two design reuse block B (the same design reuse block used two
times). The board structure can be illustrated as below:
board - A (U1,...) (subdesign_suffix=1)
B (U1,...) (subdesign_suffix=2)
B (U1,...) (subdesign_suffix=3)
My intention or understanding is, the reference designator U1 in A, B, and
B will be back annotated as U1_1, U1_2, U1_3. The problem I have is, when
I do the "Export
Physical" by choosing "Package Option" as "Preserve", U1 in A is retained,
but all the reference designators in two B blocks is gone.
Can anybody teach me how to deal with this? In such a design, will I
achieve U1_1 for A, U1_2 and U1_3 for two B block? I am running SPB 15.2
under UNIX.
Thanks very much in advance.
Best regards,
Rock
