When you are in the add pin mode, there's a polar option. You set all
the increments, select the center and then the offset (radius of the
circular pattern) and I plops the pins down at the right spot

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] radial or polar pin placement
Hi all,
Perhaps there are some of you also doing probe cards...
How do you place a radial array of pins in a symbol?
The system provides a radial copy, with a count and increment. of
course this wont work, due to accumulated error of the incremental
method.
What I am looking for, is a function similar to autocad's radial array,
where you give it the pin count (140 in my case) and the angle to fill,
(360).
This places the objects evenly around the circle of a given diameter.
How do you guys do it?
It would be a great feature to add to Allegro, along with the capability
for a polar grid.
Thanks,
Randy
