Hello Randy,
probe cards.. yes we do.
Let me understand: you not have instruments around the board but pads
all around?
A collegue of me has done this with a "excell type" (Excell or
Openoffice do the job) sheet to calculate coordonates without cumulative
errors.
With the result, he build a script to place pads.
Have a look in this direction.

Hi all,
Perhaps there are some of you also doing probe cards...
How do you place a radial array of pins in a symbol?
The system provides a radial copy, with a count and increment. of
course this wont work, due to accumulated error of the incremental method.
What I am looking for, is a function similar to autocad's radial
array, where you give it the pin count (140 in my case) and the angle
to fill, (360).
This places the objects evenly around the circle of a given diameter.
How do you guys do it?
It would be a great feature to add to Allegro, along with the
capability for a polar grid.
Thanks,
Randy
