Only after certain breaks points.... Cost is not linear... Engineers
usually think it is !!!

thanks to all for your response, I realize this isn't a board house
forum, but when the engineer said It would add 40% for two more layers,
I thought 40% is a little steep, but I guess I was wrong. I asked our
board house but I didn't get the answer I was looking for. I asked for a
general rule of thumb in percentage "what does 2 more layers add?" 

Most wanted me to send them the board and they would quote 100 pieces, 2
and 4 layer. 

That's my story and i'm sticking with it.
