[PCB_FORUM] Re: pcb-si vias

Under the Options tab of SigXp there is an "include interconnect"(or something similar).
Click that on and then extract your signal.
You should be able to see the vias then.

SI 630 uses a 3D field solver - a built in solution from Optimal. Via's and
ground plane holes are modelled (unlike many other packages)

Sam,

PCB-SI is the renamed SpecctraQuest Signal Integrity (SI) Analysis product.
The front end works very similar to allegro. It is used for floor planning, initial stack up analysis and Signal integrity.

The SI portions of the tool has a very large learning curve. I hope you have time to learn modeling and simulation.
