[PCB_FORUM] Re: pcb-si vias

Sam,
The SI610 tool does not include vias as part of the model. Cadence calls
this tool a 2.5D simulator leaving out vias. If you want to model the vias
you have to select "Save Circuit Files", extract the topology into SigXP
and then run your simulation.

Have you tried setting the Z-Axis Delay in the Electrical constraints

we have a routed board and selected the trace. The trace has two vias.
but when we simulate the vias are NOT there. How or do we define the
vias as being a part of the signal?
