Yes thats the same for windows. That button will open up some more options,
one of which is "Silk Fill".

Daniel,

I am on currently on Solaris but I believe the ODB++ Inside form
looks the same on Windows. There should be an Icon labeled
with XYZ a Green arrow pointing down to I/O. I attached
a screen shot of the icons on the bottom left side of the form.

(See attached file: odb_out_icons.gif)

I am not seeing the check box in either psd 15.1 or spb 15.2 when going
to File -> Export -> ODB++ Inside. The export window for ODB++ says it
is using version "7.5.0 R3". Can you direct me to where this check box
would be?

Thanks

Daniel So

There's a check box to in the odb++ form to enable filling of silk

Hello Everyone
i am working also with odb++  .
it's thrue that it is only one file to the manufacturing fab . if you
want
to replace a single gerber layer you have to send all the odb again
and the factory doesn't like it.
on the silkscreen all the shapes are not solid .

Maybe this will be helpful to some. I know a lot of you already send
odb++
to fab instead of gerbers, but i just now started.

I am still on the 1st one, so i have yet to see if any problems arise,
but here are some advantages for those not aware:

- There is only one file, and many fewer clicks to generate it.
- Importing into ViewMate is faster. ViewMate is a free viewer.
- IPC netlist is included.
- Printing the drill file from ViewMate is much nicer (you see actual
drill
size)

Some of these may be seen as just helping ViewMate, but that's what i
use
here.
