I have the quadro fx500 and it works just fine.
Make sure you get the latest drivers from nvidia.
There is a site called flexbeta.com that keeps track
of them. It is a little easier than going to nvidia
and trying to figure it out there. I check flexbeta
every once in a while and see if they have been updated.

Is that a dual head? If so and you have two monitors
then use them. I swear by it. And not so much at it!
