Try a little program called TextPad. http://www.textpad.com/ It is a nifty screen editor that does not put in formatting characters or other junk. But it does allow you to see the line numbers when you open a file and even to print them out without the line numbers being part of the "text". It has other nifty functions like Column Blocking, sorting just what is selected but keeping everything on that line together, unlike excel. At $35.00, it is probably the best bang for the buck I have ever seen. Shirley in Oregon No I don't sell the software, I just use it extensively. I even have it set up so I can edit text in Concept with TextPad instead of Notepad. ________________________________ From: icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icu-pcb-forum-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of sjchar3@xxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, April 26, 2006 1:02 PM To: icu-pcb-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [PCB_FORUM] finding line numbers Group: I get Error:Line 334 while running netlist. I know I've done this before, but notepad, wordpad and words do not give me line numbers. I remember setting up one of the programs to set up goto. Can someone refresh my memory on this?
